Learn Nature through play.
Nature activities do not need a forest. A pavement crack, a patch of grass, one tree on the way to school and a puddle will carry most of what is here.
These are collecting, sorting, looking closely, listening, and noticing what changed since last week. A magnifying glass helps but is not required; a container to put things in matters more, because collecting is most of the appeal.
Two ground rules run through all of it: look more than you pick, and wash hands afterwards. Both are noted on the activities where they matter most.

Grow Hair on an Eggshell
Half an eggshell, a face drawn on, cotton wool and cress seeds. In a week it has green hair you can eat.

A seasonal story about the morning you can suddenly see your own breath.

Collect the Leaves, Then Sort Them
A bag, a walk, and a kitchen table. The collecting is half of it and the sorting is the other half.
