5-Minute Setup for busy days.
A short setup buys a long activity. Five minutes with a roll of tape, a tray or a few bowls turns into half an hour of play, which is a trade worth making on most afternoons.
Everything here is honest about that five minutes: what you need, what you cut, what you fill. If a step takes longer than that, it is in a different section.
Many of these can be prepared the night before or while you are cooking, and several keep for days once they are set up — a taped-out road on the floor or a filled sensory tray does not have to be made again tomorrow.
