Spring
Spring activity ideas for kids.
Spring is the easiest season to notice, which makes it the best one for looking-closely activities. Buds on a branch, the first insects, grass coming back, and a great deal of mud.
Growing something is the obvious project and it works because it is slow — cress on a windowsill, beans in a jar, a bulb in a pot. Checking it every morning is most of the activity.
It is also the wettest season in practice. Several of these are puddle activities, and they are better in wellies than avoided.
