Low-Mess Activities

Low-Mess Activities for busy days.

Low mess means everything stays where you put it: dry materials, closed containers, nothing that stains, nothing that needs the floor washing afterwards. These are for carpeted rooms, other people's houses, hotel rooms and the end of a long day.

It is not the same as no mess. A child playing with dry pasta will still get pasta on the floor. The difference is that you can sweep it up in thirty seconds rather than mopping.

Where an activity has a messy version and a tidy one, the tidy one is described here and the messier variation is noted at the bottom, so you can choose depending on the room and your mood.

We'll email you when Bright Play Days launches properly. No more than that.

Can we count your visit? It tells us which activities actually help, so we make more of those. No advertising, no profiling, and nothing about your child. Cookie policy
