Road Trip

Activities for Road Trip.

Car activities have a specific constraint: a child cannot move, cannot see much, and cannot easily pick up what they drop. So these are either games played out loud, or things that clip, stick or sit in a lap without sliding.

Spotting games, counting games, silly-story games and I-went-to-the-shop games work from about three upwards and cost nothing. Tray activities and sticker books work for the stretches where nobody wants to talk.

Motion sickness is worth knowing about here: activities that need looking down for long stretches are marked, so you can pick a looking-out-of-the-window one instead when it matters.

We'll email you when Bright Play Days launches properly. No more than that.

Can we count your visit? It tells us which activities actually help, so we make more of those. No advertising, no profiling, and nothing about your child. Cookie policy
