Screen-Free Routines
How to build a day that does not lean on a screen.
What actually reduces screen time is not willpower, it is friction: something else already out on the table, and the tablet not in the room. A child asked to stop with nothing to move on to will reasonably object.
These pieces are about the practical side — where the screen lives, what is out instead, and which handful of activities are reliable enough to be the default.
No guilt here, and no claims about what screens do. This site is about having a good alternative ready, which is a smaller and much more achievable goal.
