Bedtime Routines
Calmer evenings, without the negotiation.
Most bedtime trouble is a routine problem rather than a sleep problem — too many choices, too much variation, and a bedtime that stretches a few minutes longer every night until it has doubled.
The fixes are structural: the same order every night, fewer decisions, a clear last thing, and deciding in advance what happens about the fifth request for water.
Wind-down activities live under bedtime in Activities. Sleep itself is not our territory: if you are worried about how your child sleeps, ask your health visitor, GP or paediatrician.
